   Measured defect: at 390x844 the hero CTA row needs 349.2px inside a 354.5px
   container, so it has 5.3px of slack against 237.2px of button text — it
   tolerates only +2.2% of text widening. With font-display: swap the system
   fallback paints first, and Helvetica/Arial run +4.8% wider than IBM Plex Sans
   Arabic. The row therefore wrapped to two lines, and when the webfont arrived

   trades a horizontal shift for a vertical one. Compensated, both render an
   identical 24px line box.

   Horizontal: size-adjust is set so the fallback is never WIDER than the
   webfont, because only a wider fallback can wrap a row the webfont fits.
   Measured against Helvetica Neue this face renders 6.9% narrower at 95%, which
   still fits on a platform whose matched face is up to ~9% wider than Helvetica
   — DejaVu Sans being the widest realistic match. A fallback that cannot be
   wider makes the reflow impossible rather than merely unlikely.

   log. Ordered most- to least-preferred, the trailing group covering minimal
